What you'll be doing
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Color Design (CD) team in daily operations
- Actively establish communication with the Sales, Production, Product Development and Logistics teams to fulfill customer requests
- Oversee the CD team in color matching process and sample creation
- Monitor the condition of the CD Lab equipment and coordinate their calibration
- Source for new raw materials / alternatives as needed for improvement
- Collaborate with the QC/QA to conduct investigations and handle customer complaints and report the findings
- Provide technical support as required
- Issue supporting documents related to regulations and quality standards in collaboration with the Product Development Stewardship team
- Prepare documentation related to CD Lab activities such as IK (Internal Regulation), PK (Interdepartmental Regulation), and forms
- Support the implementation of Production QC if needed
- Monitoring, playing an active role in implementation, and ensuring that processes in the QC Lab/CD Lab are carried out in accordance with ISO 45001/K3, following up on violations related to K3 with the HR & Management Team committed by employees in the CD department

- Not suffering from color blindness
- Bachelor/Master degree, preferably science / chemical engineering from reputable university
- Minimum 3 years as supervisor laboratories, preferably within the plastics (masterbatch) or color industry
- Good Leadership skill
- Understand the principles and methods for mixing and matching colors and analysis methods
- Understand polymer chemistry and plastic conversion, the chemical/physical properties of raw materials and finished goods
- Understand the working principles of Lab equipment and be able to operate them
- Fluent English on written and spoken
- Understand and be able to apply K3 rules and standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Honest, good analytical skill, good interpersonal skill, good initiative in solving problems
